The Core Sarcina Application is optimized foremost for the most basic use case as a paid conferencing platform. It also exposes to users all of the options and features which they might need to construct more complex Lines or business structures.
Flexibility necessarily extracts a price in terms of simplicity, and while we put every effort into making it as easy as possible for a user to install Sarcina and start making calls, we cannot do the same for all of the thousands of niche applications which the Sarcina Protocol makes possible.
To address this, we have built the Sarcina client in a modular manner. Within the Sarcina client resides The Sarcina Engine, a compiled WebAssembly package which handles all of the networking, cryptocurrency, encryption, mutimedia, and business rule enforcement functions necessary to the functioning of Sarcina.
All that remains for you, the outside software developer, to do is to define the rules around a specific application of Sarcina and create the workflows and user experience to enable them.
Packaged together with our engine, you can have a private-label app with all the privacy, anonymity, and non-custodial crypto commerce benefits of Sarcina for a small fraction of the engineering effort.
